ABOUT ME
My name is Shannon, and I am based in Nelson, where I live with my wife and our two daughters. I have a strong passion for fishing and spend as much time as possible on the water. I also enjoy family camping trips and playing squash in my spare time.
Professionally, I bring extensive experience in driver assessment, having previously worked as a Driving Testing Officer for over six years. During that time, I conducted more than 12,000 driving tests, gaining in-depth knowledge of driver behaviour, road safety standards, and testing requirements.
I now use this experience to help learner drivers not only prepare for and pass their driving tests, but also develop the practical skills and awareness needed to become safe, confident drivers for life.

I provide professional driving lessons in Nelson, specialising in learner drivers, restricted licence preparation, full licence assessments, and overseas licence conversions. Each lesson is tailored to your individual experience level and aligned with NZ Transport Agency (NZTA) requirements, helping you build confidence, improve driving skills, and pass your test safely.
Lessons are available in your own vehicle or in my dual-controlled Suzuki Swift, providing a safe and supportive learning environment with added instructor control when needed.
All vehicles used for lessons must have a current Warrant of Fitness (WOF) and valid registration, ensuring compliance with New Zealand road safety standards at all times.
